Our clients have a wonderful character property with a huge garden. The garden needed updating whilst reflecting the age of the property and the tastes of the owners. The outdoor dining space needed invigorating and there was little accessible space for vegetables, herbs and flowers.
The fantastic team and I began by removing the hefty original flagstones which were crumbling apart, and taking away the rotting raised beds. We replaced them with pressure treated soft wood sleepers coupled with top quality heavy duty British steel fixtures and fittings from www.indoorsoutdoors.co.uk and a lovely natural stone with a natural pack of Kota black limestone from www.infinitepaving.com.
The lovely gentlemen who we were building this for have a couple of fabulous rescue dogs with a penchant for wandering, so we added new fencing and a gate to keep the escape artists in. They had some fabulous unused bricks in their garden so we repurposed them and built new steps leading to the new gate.
Around the back of the property, we added an area of concrete for a new greenhouse and replaced the weathered gravel and membrane with new membrane and Dorset Gravel from Tout Quarry.
Overall we are very happy with the way this project turned out and happily onto the next.
