The brief
To create a back garden and driveway that were not just practical but beautiful.
The outcome
We completed the second part of the garden and drive, finishing the 360-degree project. Our client was particularly keen on symmetry with circles and curves. Therefore, we provided low-maintenance features, including a mowing strip for the lawn and raised beds. For colour contrast, the client chose black limestone cobbles, red ‘snapped header’ clay bricks, and ‘Somerset buff’ Hoggin. We also installed cedar slatted fencing with a black batten screen. The main focal point is a beautiful Corten steel moon gate with a floral pattern. Additionally, we created a patio with Kandla grey Indian sandstone slabs and dark resin bond joints, drawing the eye. Finally, we used granite effect block paving for the drive, with buff edging detail.
